Dr. Vlad Beliavsky is a psychologist, philosopher, and author. His research focuses on mental wellbeing, the functioning of the human mind, and how to improve performance and personality.
Vlad is a representative of the integrative school of psychotherapy. He developed a self-care and therapy method known as The Pyramid Model, which is based on the principles of an integrative approach.
Vlad is the author of 'The Pyramid Mind' by Simon & Schuster, which is published internationally.
Vlad is also the founder and CEO of Brightway – the journaling app designed to develop a healthier and happier mind.
With the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Vlad has enlisted in the military of Ukraine, where he also provides psychological support.
Vlad received a commendation from the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, for ‘the impeccable service and significant personal contribution to the strengthening of Kyiv defence capability.’
In peacetime, Vlad regularly works with organizations around the world, helping people to get the best out of themselves and build thriving cultures.
Born in Ukraine and educated in the UK, Vlad normally splits his time between London and Kyiv.
Vlad holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Warwick, where he conducted research on psychotherapy and lectured at the Department of Psychology.
